+ | Hello, I haven't found the rare [http://www.imperial-library.info/content/introduction-lar%C3%A8na Introduction L'Arèna] in your library, but since this page speaks about it, I think it would be best to ask here. I've done a translation of this rare relict from the earliest days into German (with on- and offline dictionaries and my last Mnemoli from school, so please excuse if I ask in English) for our "[http://almanach.scharesoft.de/wiki/Tamriel-Almanach:Schriftensammlung Tamriel-Almanach]" and need your help with a few particular words. Thanks to the Three it's a rather simple text and not, let's say, an exclusive MK, but I was inable to find out what might be the meaning of "Sortilame" ("''Warhaft, un humain qui a suivi un entrainement de Sortilame''"). I'm also not sure about the month names / dates in lore context, perhaps you could also give me a hint towards the english equivalents of "Fin des Moissons" ("''jour de la fête de la Fin des Moissons''") and "Bas Soleil". I would really appreciate if you could help me with those details. Many thanks! --[[Utilisateur:Cheydin|Cheydin]] ([[Discussion utilisateur:Cheydin|discussion]]) 26 avril 2016 à 02:28 (CEST) | ||

+ | :"Sortilame" is an earliest translation of "Spellsword", with "sorti" for "spell" and "lame" for "sword". The holiday "Fin des Moissons" is "Harvest's End", set during the Last Seed 27th. + | ::Hey Freyja Shadow-Wolf, many thanks, this was quicker than Rajhin the Thief. :) And really helpful, [http://almanach.scharesoft.de/wiki/Arena:Einf%C3%BChrung:_Die_Arena here's] my version. The text itself is really remarkably bad, but also quite representative for the legendary “original DnD campaign”. No wonder that I couldn’t find the meaning of “Sortilame” - in our MW localization, “Spellsword” is translated as “Magierkrieger”, literally “Mage-Warrior”. But OBL has something like “Sword-mage” in our localization, which I preferred instead. J'ai supprimé l'un des screenshots des Anecdotes. Parmi les 3 screenshots, seuls deux étaient vraiment intéressants, le troisième n'apportant pas grand-chose de plus.
