It is the Temple's greatest joy to announce to the world that today is the birthday of Professor Hasphat Antabolis, Chair of Dwemer Studies at the Imperial College. Master Antabolis has produced many fine works over the years, and his research has proven invaluable in many fields. The Chimer were not the "Changed Ones," they were the "Crafty Ones," Reman Cyrodiil was not born of a Hillock, the Dragon Break did not occur. How our world has been improved by this unquestionable scholarship!

But we jest, Hasphat. Tamriel is a place of endless wonder, surely there is room in it for the wonder of one who disbelieves in all of it. What you retrieve from dusty archives, we find in the records you dismiss. What you learn from diligent observation, we consider obviously true. What you have proven, we doubt, and what you doubt, we have always known.

Duality is the keystone of existence, no one believes this more than we do. We could not exist without you, Hasphat, if only because you valiantly bear the torch of knowledge on those dark paths we refuse to explore. To you we owe as much as we owe any confrater, and we do not forget the way you gave us our start. May your research continue to be fruitful.

Therefore the Temple sends you all its love, and remember: you are not just Professor Antabolis, you are also Confrater Antabolis, for the Temple's gates are always open. May we continue to disagree for many, many years to come.
